This project utilizes a desktop program that runs on all LAN Technologies lab computers that contacts a web service upon logon and reports various information. This information is recorded in an Access database and accessed via a web application that generates statistics and various graphical representations of data. It's also gathering information that can be used for security purposes such as login id, IP address, MAC Address, etc... so that we can double up on our current system for tracking this data which has shown some holes.

This was developed in order to aid in the decision to close one of the labs. It's in use in its current form, but it's going to undergo a major facelift and some performance enhancements if it is deemed useful by the "higher ups." Hopefully by then I can come up with a more clever name than "Lab Usage Reporter." I'm sure I would get in trouble if I linked to the live system on my personal web page, but here are some screenshots of this system in action .
