It's a Boy! (For sure this time)
After what seemed like a long pregnancy, Angie has finally produced a beautiful, healthy baby boy at 12:17am on June 12th. He has lots of dark curly hair and beautiful skin and his name is Carter Ryan McCune. We're home now and are starting to get settled in. We're so excited to have started a family and are looking forward to all the sleepless nights to come.
It's a Boy!
Angie is 18 weeks along into our first pregnancy. We had an ultrasound this week and found out that we're going to be having a boy somewhere around June 22nd. All the conventional wisdom told us we were going to have a girl, so we were pretty surprised. Now we have to figure out what we're going to call him, because Angie's getting tired of me calling him Lumpy. Now that work can begin on the nursery, we need to find a new guest room, so we've started finishing our basement.
We Moved!
Actually we moved a while ago (July 31st) and I'm just now getting around to posting this. Nobody told me there was so much work involved in buying a brand new house. I posted some pictures when they were moving the house in. Things have come pretty far since then, so I'll get some new pictures up soon, I hope.
Lawrence Bans Cell Phones?
First the rejection of the theory of evolution, and now this. Kansans don't appear to be helping the image of Kansas. We seem to be gaining more and more of a reputation as a behind-the-times hick state.
Software Metering
I finally got my page up about our software metering project. This one got a little bit longer than the others and I included a few code samples. This was a fun project that Nathan and I worked on, but unfortunately it was never implemented so I had to dig the code out of my archives and dust it off. Nathan, you'll have to let me know if I should add anything.
Resume Updated (Again)
Due to several requests for more detailed information, I have updated and reposted my resume. If you are one of those people, please take another look.
Resume Updated
I guess since I'm finally going to be graduating in May I should probably get my resume out there for all you prospective employers. I'm also working to get pages up to date about all of the projects I've been working on, so stay tuned.
